Direct messaging is quickly emerging as a viable method for exchanging health information and is required to help meet Meaningful Use requirements for Continuity of Care Document (CCD) exchange. This session will help you understand Direct and how it can apply to your facility.

1151 - Using SSO and Advanced Authentication as a Catalyst for Clinician Adoption of Technology (Friday, May 31 at 1:30 p.m.)

This pragmatic review will help attendees plan for a successful single sign-on and advanced authentication deployment. Learn how to bridge the gap between user convenience and system security, along with where the market is headed with virtualization technologies.

1171 - Leveraging Health Information Exchange to Facilitate Patient Care and Support MU Stage 2 (Friday, May 31 at 1:30 p.m.)

This session focuses on the benefits of electronic health information exchange between healthcare organizations to support patient care coordination and meet Meaningful Use requirements. A variety of sample use cases will be discussed.
